what is somatic coaching?

People work with a coach to move towards and sustain a goal, vision, or change within themselves.

In somatic coaching, you practice embodying this change through movement, distinct from talk-centered approaches.

Like a musician playing scales or an athlete training the same motion, somatic coaching gives you space to practice the change you seek and listen to what’s getting in the way.

Somatic transformation follows the “yes” in your body and uses practicable repetition to sustain the change you seek.

how do you coach?

First, we get clear on what you care about, and create your goals.

From there, each session focuses on what’s most relevant related to that commitment. For example, maybe you keep ending up in the same conflict, or continually feel like you don’t know what you want.

Blending with your real-life context, we use imagination and movement practices to unfold new insights and ways of being.

As a coach, I focus on recognizing patterns in your expression, asking open-ended questions that connect to your own knowing, and offering practices to move towards your change.

what is your coaching structure?

Coaching packages are offered in 12, 24, or 36 session bundles. We commit to a set amount of sessions to create your container for change.

Sessions are booked virtually or in-person in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Pricing is customized based on my availability, your budget, and context (e.g. professional or executive coaching, athlete or team coaching). Please reach out to connect and learn more about available packages.

how is coaching different from therapy?

The primary differences between somatic coaching and therapy are:

  1. I do not treat or diagnose mental health disorders

  2. We meet for an agreed set of time with specific goals

  3. We practice present moment embodied knowing as our guide
